Yes, it is America you have the right to do whatever you want, and canceling someone is a powerful tool we have. But what happens when you use that tool too much is the power backfires. Now instead of canceling fascism, society as a whole now sees us as the fascists. Not every distasteful comment requires the same response and in this case attempting to cancel has done more harm then good. Time to find a different tool in our fight for equality.
