Trans society is a smaller sampling of the rest of society. While being trans is a unifying cause, You are essentially bringing together people who would not normally interact. Conservatives, Liberals, Young, Old, Upper middle and lower classes.

Then…there is all that which you alluded to, in what defines trans, and who is excluded or not.

Ultimately how cohesive the group is depends on the critical mass of the population. I am not sure the number but it seems the larger the group gets the more fracturing occurs. Its why in small towns you have PFLAG groups that are close and work together, while in big progressive cities there is fracturing and infighting. Its the struggle that holds us together.

This is not a trans issue. This is a human issue. People are generally tribal in nature. Its in our genetic coding as hunter gathers. No matter how much we evolve, we are still tribal. Whether the tribe is based on religion, gender, orientation or social status, it always happens.
